As Chair of the MAATA Annual Meeting Committee, I am very happy to bring to your attention conference highlights as well as several special events during your three-day stay in LaVista, Nebraska. CEU Info

  • 15 hours of BOC approved Category A CEUs
  • 9.5 hours of BOC approved Evidence Based Practice in general sessions
  • 11.5 hours of BOC approved Evidence Based Practice in two pre-conference workshops
  • (7.5 hours in FMS workshop and 4 hours in Visual and Vestibular Workshop)

Pre-conference workshops

  • 1) The Missing Link:  Visual and Vestibular Deficits Following Concussion. (mTBI).
    Rebecca A Bliss, PT, DPT, NCS, c/NDT and Ashley S. Reddell, OD, FCOVD. Thursday,
    March 16 11:30 to 4:00 4 of Category A (4 hours of approved EBP). $25 and open for the first 50 registrants
  • 2) Functional Movement Screen Level I Seminar.  Brett Jones, MS, ATC, CSCS. 7.5 hours
    of EBP designation. Thursday, March 16 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Original price is $400 but
    MAATA attendees will only pay $300, a 25% savings!!! A home-study portion of this
    workshop will be required of the attendee.
  • 3) ACES Preparatory Workshop. $100 for NATA members/$195 for non-NATA members.

  • MAATA Business Meeting 5:00pm – 6:00pm
  • MAATA Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • MAATA Reception and Student Quiz Bowl 8:30 pm – 11:00 pm

  • Student Poster Free Communications 10:00am – 10:50am
  • State Business Meetings 12:00
