2026 President’s Message

Dear NSATA Members,

Thank you for visiting the NSATA Summer Education Conference website. The NSATA Executive Board is excited to welcome you to this year’s Summer Education Conference in Columbus, Nebraska. We are grateful to Columbus Community Hospital for serving as our local host and helping make this event possible.

This year’s conference will be offered in both in-person and virtual formats, allowing athletic trainers across Nebraska and beyond to participate in a dynamic day of continuing education and professional connection.

Join us on Friday, June 5, for a full day of engaging sessions designed for athletic trainers working in a variety of practice settings. The conference program features expert speakers and practical topics including:
• Conservative care strategies for shoulder instability
• Clinical applications of shockwave therapy
• Concussion assessment and interpretation using the Vestibular/Ocular Motor Screening (VOMS)
• Mental health considerations for the athletic trainer
• Functional movement assessment and clinical application

In addition to high-quality education, the Summer Education Conference provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and strengthen the athletic training community across Nebraska.

We look forward to another outstanding event and hope you will join us in person or virtually for a day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Warm regards,
Denise Marshall, ATC
NSATA President
