What is the NSATA?

The Nebraska State Athletic Trainers’ Association (NSATA) was established in 1980 and represents over 400 members across Nebraska.

What are Athletic Trainers?

Athletic trainer means a health care professional who is licensed to practice athletic training under the Athletic Training Practice Act and who, under guidelines established with a licensed physician perform prevention and wellness promotion, examination, assessment and impression, immediate emergency care, therapeutic intervention or rehabilitation, therapeutic modalities, physical modalities, mechanical modalities, health care administration, risk management, and professional responsibility.
