2021 President’s Message

Dear NSATA Membership,

Thank you for visiting the NSATA Summer Education Conference website. The NSATA Executive Board is excited about this year’s Summer Education Conference. I want to thank Columbus Community Hospital and our other sponsors for helping to make this event a success. Many of you who participated in last year’s virtual conference indicated that you would like to see the conference offered in a virtual format in the future. We are excited to be able to offer the Summer Education Conference both in-person and virtually to allow more members the opportunity to participate in the great education program we have planned for this year.

This year’s conference includes topics related to mental health, hydration, cultural competence, concussions, respiratory symptoms, and practice act changes. In addition to the education event, the Hall of Fame Committee will induct Aaron Madsen and Danielle Kleber into the NSATA Hall of Fame. Additionally, the Honors and Awards Committee will recognize the George F. Sullivan Athletic Trainer of the Year, NSATA Service Awards and NSATA Scholarship and Grant recipients during the Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, June 4th. We hope you will consider joining us in-person to help celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding individuals.

We are looking forward to another great event. I hope to see you either in-person or virtually on June 4th!

Michael Sloup, ATC
NSATA President
